This Refund Policy is established to provide clear and fair guidelines regarding cancellations and refund procedures for tours and services booked with Ijen To Bromo Tour. By confirming your reservation with us, you agree to the terms stated in this policy.
1. General Terms

All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing via email to info@ijentobromotour.com or through WhatsApp at +62 821-4296-1911.

Refunds will only be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

All refunds are subject to deductions for any costs already incurred by the company, including but not limited to: permit fees, administrative costs, accommodation bookings, and third-party transportation arrangements.
2. Cancellation Timeline & Refund Amount
Refunds are issued based on the number of days before the scheduled tour date that the cancellation is received:

More than 15 days before the tour date: Eligible for a partial refund, after deducting any non-refundable expenses already incurred (e.g. permits, booking fees).

14 days or less before the tour date: No refund will be issued.

No-shows or cancellations on the day of departure: 100% cancellation fee will apply.
3. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

You will be notified via email or WhatsApp once the refund has been initiated.

The actual time it takes to receive the refund depends on your payment provider or bank.
4. Special Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen events may occur. In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure situations that affect the safety and feasibility of the tour, Ijen To Bromo Tour reserves the right to:

Reschedule the trip at a later date

Offer a travel credit (voucher) valid for a future trip

Issue a partial refund depending on expenses already incurred
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:

Clients who fail to provide required documentation (e.g., passport, health certificate)

Clients who are denied entry due to immigration or local authority decisions

Clients who voluntarily leave or shorten the tour once it has begun

Inclement weather conditions that prevent blue fire sightings but do not cancel the entire tour
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly advise clients to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen events. We are not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.
7. Health and Safety Regulations
Please note that Ijen Crater tours require specific health conditions. Clients must:

Not suffer from asthma or heart conditions

Provide a valid health certificate
If a client is disqualified from participating due to medical restrictions, this will be treated as a standard cancellation and subject to the terms above.
