TOUR ITINERARY

Day 01: Pick-up service in Pangkalan Bun and river cruise tour to Tanjung Harapan camp and wildlife observation - overnight in house-boat with air conditioned cabin (L, D)

• Pick-up service from Hotel or airport of Pangkalan Bun, and transfer to Kumai river port  for 25 mnts,- then boarding on the Deluxe/ Super Deluxe Boat 

• Cruise up the river to area of Tanjung Puting National Park for seeing the natural/ virgin vegetations and observation the wild animals around the river banks 

• Observing some wildlife such as birds, macaque, proboscis monkeys and wild - orangutans.- Then, if the time still permitted, you will visit camp of Tanjung Harapan at 15.00 PM for witness a feeding time of orangutans.

• Then, At 16.00 return back to the boat and continue boating up to observe and learning more about Proboscis monkeys along the river banks. Proboscis monkeys are being endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and overnight on the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Houseboat

Day 02: River cruise tour with air conditioned houseboat to the re-forest station of FNPF Camp and continuesa to do Orangutan tours Borneo in Camp Leakey (B, L, D)

• After breakfast on the house-boat, cruise up the river to see more wildlifes around the river banks in the morning, while most animals ready to do their activities. 

• Then Visit FNPF Camp for planting trees, here you will planting tree to contribute for Carbon Offset program and here you should contribute for IDR. 50.000 / Tree for maintaining your own trees, the ranger will named your trees with your name. this contribution should be based on your own budged. 

• Afterward, back to the houseboat and continues up to Camp Leakey and lunch will be served on board. On arrivall in Camp Leakey, doing the jungle trekking of Borneo rain forest to see orangutan feeding

• Back to the houseboat then cruise down the river, the captain of the houseboat will find a place to anchor the houseboat. Tonight, you will get dinner and overnight in the air conditioned houseboat.

Day 03: River cruise with air conditioned houseboat for other Orangutan Borneo tours in Pondok Tanggui and Tanjung Harapan Camp (B, L, D)

• After breakfast, cruise down the river with airconditioned houseboat to reach Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center for the orangutan. Visit the Orangutan feeding 09.00 AM, enjoy your time while take some pictures. 

• Then at 10.00 AM return back to the houseboat and continue boating down direct to Tanjung Harapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Lunch will provide on board, then cross to Tanjung Harapan Camp to see the last orangutan feeding at 15.00 and you will stay here until 16.00 pm. 

• Back to the boat and boating down directly to Nipa Palm area to see thousands of fireflies/ do fireflies tour by cruising along the river. Tonight, you will get dinner and overnight in the air conditioned houseboat.

Day 04: Morning river cruise with AC houseboat to Kumai river port and drive to Pangkalan Bun (B)

• After breakfast, We'll continue with our houseboat/ Klotok down the river to reach Kumai river port. We will do the river cruise down and short exploring tour,- so, wildlife spotting is not over yet. Enjoying your coffee or tea on upper deck of the boat while exploring the river in Tanjung Puting National Park at morning time

• This morning, if you are lucky enough - you may can meet the Orangutan foraging in the trees around and Long-snout Crocodiles may sun-busking on the river bank when the weather really good. It will offer you an incredible experience during the houseboat tour from Tanjung Puting National Park area back to Kumai river port

• Upon arrival at Kumai river port, meet with our driver and departing Kumai,- then you’ll be transferred to Pangkalan Bun airport with possibility to visit Orangutan souvenir and handicraft gallery before your flight out from Pangkalan Bun (conditional).
